Mental Health Awareness Day

** October 10, 2019 **

Today is mental Health Awareness Day! The staff and children at the Magical Kingdom have been focusing today about positive thoughts and feelings.
The staff have all wrote quotes for their staff room to create a positive environment.
“Are you Alright” May be all it takes to help someone.
Our children have created emotion sensory bottles in baby room and toddlers have created an area for children to express their feelings and share their emotions..

Remember all it takes is a smile to change someone’s day 😀😀💚

Macmillan Cancer Support 

** October 3, 2019 **

This morning the children baked cakes, made chocolate rice Krispies to raise funds for the Macmillan Cancer Trust . The children visited the local shops, to help raise funds.

We DID amazing with the response and donations received. We would like to say thank you to all our local shops who contributed to this beautiful cause. We would also like to thank the lovely lady who made a donation and said some very positive words. 

We are still raising funds at the nursery till tomorrow please continue the donations 💚

Competition for Staff

**1st October 2019**

We set a competition for staff to develop an area in their rooms. The staff had to think about the Intent, Implementation, and the impact of what they are doing. We now need to decide on a winner and it is very hard…

The little boy  “Rhys Williams”

We came across an article for a little boy named “Rhys Williams” His mum made an appeal for Birthday cards to be sent to Rhys to help make her son see life is worth living..

Following that article we decided at Nursery we wanted to do something for little Rhys, we had a pyjama day to raise some funds to send Rhys a thoughtful present, the children all helped to create and decorate a card for Rhys and helped to post the card.

We hope our small gesture put a smile on Rhy’s face and made him see life is worth living and all our little helpers at nursery were thinking of him ❤️

Finalist for the Hyndburn Business Awards

We are very happy to have made it to the finalist for the Hyndburn Business Awards for the category “New Business” Although we didn’t win, we are delighted to have made it to the finalist and showcase what our nursery has achieved since opening its doors in January 2018.

*** Warm Magical Day **** April 19, 2018

It has been a warm and magical day at the magical kingdom nursery. The children have enjoyed their walk to the waterside area to feed the ducks and swans, 
We also had a picnic with the children eating fruits and rice cakes.

*** Mummies Tea Morning **** March 12, 2018

Here is a sneak peak of what we have planned for our lovely Mummies tomorrow. we are very excited to see you all. 
The session will start from 10 am-11.30 am. Daddies you are also welcome to join us we may have a treat store for you 😉

We would like to say Thank You to all the mummies, Nana’s, Sisters and aunties who came to our Mothers Tea Morning. The children really enjoyed sharing their experiences with their loved one’s and doing Arts and crafts with mummies.

We have had a lovely day celebrating our favourite stories for#worldBookDay.. Storm Emma isn’t getting in the way of us celebrating World Book Day  Thank you to all parents for dressing our children in wonderful costumes.
